(Rutgers College, 1871), Reformed (Dutch); b. in New-York City, July 12, 1834; graduated in the first cla of the New-York Free Academy (since 1866, the College of the City of New Y 54 ork) 1853, and at the theological seminary of the Reformed Dutch Church, New Brunswick, N.J., 1856; was resident licentiate, 1856-57; became pastor at Paramus, N.J., 1857, and at Millstone 1863. He is the author of Manual and Record of Church of Paramus, New York, 1858, 2d ed. 1859; Manned of the Reformed Protestant Dutch Church in North America, 1859, 3d ed. 1879; Millstone Centennial, 1866; Corwin Genealogy, 1872; and of sundry sermons and articles.
