LACHRYMAL

Relating to tears; as the lachrymal glands, by which they are secreted. They are placed in a depre ion of the frontal bone, above the external angle of the eye: the tears pa from them to the eye by the lachrymal ducts, which are six or eight in number. [s. 645]
