Cla of Mollusca, including those having a distinct head (in many forms bears tentacles), a ventral foot, and an undivided mantle, which usually secretes a cup-shaped or spirally twisted shell. The group includes the orders Prosobranch i at a, Heteropod a, Pulmonata, and Opisthobranch i at a.
