(ra’fe) (Gr. pag seam]. A ridge or furrow that marks the line of union of the halves of various symmetric parts. Fr. anococcy’gea, a fibrous septum extending from the anus to the coccyx. r. corp or is callo’si, a linear furrow along the median line of the upper side of the callosum, and a similar ridge on the lower side. r. pal’ati, the middle ridge of the palate. r. palpebra‘lis later a‘lis, the external tarsal ligament. r. pterygomandibula’ ris, the pterygomaxillary ligament.
