A bundle of white nerve-fibres at the anterior extremity of the third ventricle in front of the anterior pillars of the fornix. It connects the opposite corpora striata, pa ing through these bodies at a level below the lenticular nuclei, and then curves backward through the medullary substance of the hemisphere to the temporo-sphenoidal lobe.
