An opening, a perforation, anterior condylar f., anterior condyloid f. A f. to the front and to the inner side of each occipital condyle. [B. N. A., hypoglo al /.] anterior ethmoidal f., anterior internal orbital f. See anterior ethmoidal canal, under canal. anterior sacral foramina. Four foramina on each side of the anterior surface of the sacrum, which transmit the anterior branches of the sacral nerves. aortic f. An aperture in the upper part of the tibiofibular intero eous membrane which gives pa age to the anterior tibial ve els, f. cecum of the frontal bone. A small f. situated at the base of the frontal crest of the frontal bone. f. cecum of the pharynx. A depre ion in the mucosa of the posterior wall of the pharynx, in the median line, a little below the level of the orifices of the openings of the eustachian tubes, f. cecum of the tongue. A small culdesac about an inch from the base of the dorsum of the tongue, into which a number of small glands open. f. lacerum anterius. See sphenoidal fi ure, under fi ure. f.
