(lin’é-iir-lan’s6-06-lat), a. [¢ L. linear is, linear (see linear), + LiL. lanceolatus, armed with a little lance or point: see lanceolate.| In bot., lanceolate and very slender; narrow and parallel-sided in the middle, and tapering to a slender base and an acute tip.
