NECROSIS

(Yunanca köken — orijinale bakınız.) This term is applied in surgery to the mortification of parts of bones. Necrosis, or Spotting. In Botany, a disease of plants, chiefly found upon the leaves and soft parenchymatous parts of vegetables. It consists of small black spots, below which the substance of the plant decays.
