Calor Mor'dicans, n . [Lat. cal or , heat, mordicans , biting.] ( Med .) A particular kind of heat, that sometimes attends typhus and other fevers, and is considered a dangerous symptom. It is biting and pungent, rather than burning, and leaves a smarting sensation on the fingers for several minutes after touching it.
