(Capital University, Columbus, O., 1877), Luther an (Mi ouri Synod); b. at Langenchursdorf, Saxony, Oct. 25, 1811; graduated at the University of Leipzig 1833; emigrated in 1838; and since 1849 has been profe or of theology, and president of Concord i a Seminary, and pastor of the Evangelical Luther an joint congregation, St. Louis, Mo.
