and n. [ II. n. A pentacrinoid crinoid; a member of the Pentacrinoidea . Pentacrinoidea (pent a-kri-noi'de-a), w. pl. [NL., Pentacrinus + -oidea.] The Pentacrinidæ or Pentacri nitidæ, in a broad sense, as a superfamily group of articulated crinoids. Pentacrinus (pen-tak'ri-nus), n. [NL. (L. Oken, 1815), ily Pentacrinidæ, having the column pentagonal. P. wyville thomson i is an existing species. Some vin is genus hic harval forms of stalk to this are le crinoids, as P. europæus of Ante don rosace us. Also Pent a crinites. pent acrostic(pen-ta-kros'tik), a. and n.
