Monte Lezino

Fought April 10 and 11, 1796, when d'Argent i an, with the central division of the Austro-Sard in i an army, attacked the French position at Montenotte, held by Cervoni's division. Cervoni was driven back, but the key to the position was held throughout the day by Tampon, with 1,500 men, and on the 12th d'Argent i an found himself outflanked by Augereau and Ma éna, and was compelled to fall back, with a lo of 1,000 killed, 2,000 prisoners, and some guns. This was Napoleon's first victory.
