GALLIUM

s a rare hard grey-white ‘ metal, belonging to the aluminum| group, of specific gravity 5.95. melts at 30.15 and stays liquid at a lower temperature if untouched by crystals of the metal. Except mercury it is the only metallic element that remains a liquid in common temperature. It was discovered by the French chemist Lecoq de pmpeuaran by the spectroscope in 1875.
