Mantuan

( The ) that is, Baptist a Spagn´olus, surnamed Mantua´nus , from the place of his birth. He wrote poems and eclogues in Latin. His works were translated into English by George Tuberville in 1567. He lived 1443-1516. Ah, good old Mantuan! I may speak of thee as the traveller doth of Venice: Vinegia, Vinegia, Chi non te vede, ei non te pregia.
