Giulia, an Italian singer; born in Milan, May 22, 1812. She made her debut at Bologna. Her fame reached its climax in her rendition of the roles of “ Norma” and “ Lucrezia Borgia,” in which characters her singing and dramatic acting have never been surpa ed. She was twice married; on the second occasion to the unrivaled tenor, Signor Mario, Marquis de Canada, with whom she visited the United States in 1854, singing in the Pe cities. She died in Berlin, Nov. 29, 1869.
