Dr. Günther says that it grows to a length of seven inches in favorable localities; its average size is about three inches. The top of the head and the back are dusky olive, mottled, and lighter in color on the sides; belly white, rosy in summer, whence it is sometimes called the Pink. Known also as the Minim. 2.
