The same as FLAXEN-HAIRED (q.v.) flăx'-rāiş-er, s. [Eng. flax, and raiser.] One who raises flax. flăx-seēd, s. ( Britten & Holland.) flăx-wõrts, s. pl. [Eng. flax; suff.- wort.] Bot.: The name given by Lindley to the order Linacese (q.v.).
