venosclerosis (ve-no-skle-ro's is)

Induration of a vein. [Lat., vena, vein, -f- Gr., skleros, hard.] venosity blood in(ve-nos'it-e). which it contains A condition le than of the the normal proportion of oxygen (i. e., is venous in the systemic arteries). It is due to a deficient aeration of the blood in the lungs, and often occurs in physiological experiments by a ce ation of the use lungs.of the bellows supplying air to the venous (ve'nus). i. Pertaining to the veins or their contents. 2. Pertaining to blood containing a relatively large amount of carbon dioxid and a relatively small amount of oxygen. See v. blood, under blood, v. murmur.
