[Eng. comen(ic), and amic.] comenamic acid, s. Chem.: Co(NH2) H3O4+H2O. An acid obtained by boiling comenic acid with exce of ammonia, and recrystallizing from hot water. It forms salts and gives a deep purple color with ferric salts. Boiled with potash it yields ammonia and come.aate of pota ium.
