16. Haneberg (hä'ne-berg), Daniel Bonifacius von. Born at Tanne, near Kempten, Bavaria, June 17, 1816: died at Spires, Bavaria, May 31, 1876. A German Roman Catholic prelate and theologian. He was profe or of theology at Munich 1841-51, abbot 1844, and bishop of Spires 1872. He wrote various theological, historical, and polemical works. Hanega (han'ē-gä).
