It has educated more than 200 Africans, who are now working at about 15 places in W, Africa, mainly in the Congo region, and who, by so much, become the direct channels of the influence of The Institute teaches its pupils the Institute. some of the arts which will find place for application in Africa and it has 5 auxiliary or preparatory schools in Africa, the most intelligent of whose graduates will be taken to complete their training in the mother in.stitution. The number of students now in training is about 75. 26
