Zool.: Ursus is a bell in us , a lighter variety of the Syrian bear. It is of a yellowish-brown color, but the hue varies according to the season of the year. 2382 It is found in the Himalaya Mountains, and feeds chiefly on vegetables. Called also the Indian White Bear.
