LABURNUM

a genus of leguminous plants, contains only three species: they are natives of Europe and Asia and ene is common in British shrubberies. This is £. vulgare, which is noted for its pendulous racemes of beautiful yellow papilionaceous flowers, and in all its parts is highly poisonous.
