Pro podium

(pro-po' -de-um). of a gasteropod or pteropod, as portion distinguished from the me so podium and meta podium. of Exoph- Propodos (prop' -o-dos). In biology, the sixth joint of any appendage of a crustacean; a pro gnathite, pro podite (Bate). Cf. pro to podite, endopodite or exopodite, ischiopodite, meropodite, carpopodite, and dactylopodite.
