Hindu godde variously known as Bhawani, Kali, and Parvati, wife of Siva. As personified female energy the Yoni is her emblem. She is represented with ten arms holding various weapons, as she destroyed more giants than all the other deities together. Her annual festival at the end of Sep. tember is the most splendid and popular of all Hindu feasts.
