Hemlock

Conium maculatum. Poisonous, white-flowered plant of the Carrot family, native of Europe, introduced as a weed into N. America. All parts of the plant contain the alkaloid conia, most in the seeds; it is a volatile liquid, tastes like tobacco, and produces death with tetanic convulsions. See CONIUM.
