[A.S. fe low.] In England, a superior member of a college, usually a graduate, and holding what is called a fellowship, from which he derives an income varying from $750 to $1,500.-Also, a distinctive appellation given to a member of a society incorporated by charter for the promotion and practice of some branch of science or art; as, a Fellow of the Royal Society(abbreviated F.R.
