LEWISOHN, LUDWIG

C., and at Columbia University. He joined the editorial staff of Double day, Page & Co., in 1904 but left the following year and until 1910 was engaged in writing for magazines. He was then an instructor in German at the University of Wisconsin for one ar and a istant profe or of German anguage and literature at Ohio State - University from 1911-19 after which he became a ociate editor of The Nation.
