a coeducational institution, situated at Swarth more, Pa., S.W. of Philadelphia. It was founded by the Quakers in 1869. The prescribed studies for the A.B. degree include English, Bible study, history or economics, at least. one language or one science, mathematics or engineering. In 1922 there were 510 students and 45 teachers under the direction of F. Aydelotte. N.W.
