Morvaren, Eton, July 20, 1872—London, May 18, 1936; active for many years as theatre cond. and comp. of music for plays in London; also orch. and choral works. (3) Quentin Morvaren, b. London, May 14, 1896; son of (2); also a prolific comp. of music for the stage; a pupil of Straube, Reger and Krehl Maclen’nan, Francis, Bay City, Mich., 1879—Port Washington, N. Y., = 1935; tenor; York, London and Berlin; sang in London, 1902; Op. Co., in U. S.; 1907, Royal Op., Berlin; 1913, Hamburg Op.; 1915-17, Chicago Op. Co., later again in Berlin; m. Florence Easton, soprano; divorced.
