C. r. soldanellæflora

(Soldan ell a-flowered).* fl., corolla blue, semi-double, turbinate, with shallow marginal divisions, very acutely pointed. June. l. long, linear, acute, se ile. Stem simple, slender. h. 1ft. 1870. (R. G. 473.) All the forms of rotund i folia are pretty, and suitable for the front of borders, or the rockery; rising from the crevices of the latter, with their slender stems laden with flowers, they are especially beautiful.
