Plaster

—1. A composition made of varying proportions of lime, sand and water, together with hair or other binding material. Used as a coating for walls, ceilings and partitions, being usually laid on laths and furrings. 2. Gypsum or plaster of Paris, as used for the ornamental or intricate parts of a plasterer’s work.
