1. One who or that which clarifies or purifies: as, whites of eggs, blood, and isingla are clarifiers of liquors.2. A ve el in which a liquid is clarified; specifically, a large metallic pan for clarifying saccharine syrup, etc. clarify (klar'i-fi), v.; pret. and pp. clarified, ppr. clarifying.
