(ka hrt.) (W.) A species of carriage with two wheels, in which respect it differs from the ordinary Fig. 141. - ASSYRIAN CART. (Nineveh Marbles, British Museum.) wagon that has four wheels. In Scripture, the Hebrew word translated in some places by " cart," and in others by " wagon," denotes any vehicle, either covered or open, running on wheels, and usually drawn by oxen (Fig. 141).
