Penæaceæ (pene a see)

pl. [NL. (R. Brown, 1820), Sarcocolla are the chief. They are small heath-like ever numerous little rigid entire opposite leaves, and salver shaped flowers, usually red, solitary in the axils of the upper leaves or of broader bracts.
