Dinah Maria Mulock, an English author; born in Stoke-upon- Trent in 1826. In 1865 she married George Lillie Craik, a partner in the —— house of Mac mill an and mpany, and spent a period of quiet happine and succe ful literary industry at her home in Kent, where ehe died Oct. 12, 1887.
