(strep’’to-trik-i'as-is). Same as stre plotrichosis. strep to trichosis (strep-to-tri-ko’sis). Β. olfacto’ria, any one of three white stripes extending backward from the olfactory trigone. 8. pine a’lis, either of two white lines in the third ventricle, extending from the peduncle of the pineal body to the inner side of the tubercle of the thalamus. Called also tenia fornicis and tenia thalami. Retzius’ parallel s., brown lines cro ing the enamel-prisms, seen on cutting the enamel. Schriger’s s., darkish, irregular lines cro ing the enamel-rods and strie of Retzius of the tooth-enamel. 8. term in a’lis, the tenia semicircular is (q. v.). 8. vascula’ris, the layer fibrous vascular ti ue that covers the outer wall of the scala media. 8. ventric’uli ter’tii, stria pineal is. striate, striated (str i’at, str i’a-ted) [L. stria’tus].
