(düch.) [D. Duitsch; Ger. Deutsch.] (Geog.) Pertaining or having reference to Holland or the kingdom of the Netherlands; plural ly, Dutchmen, or the people of Holland. Dutchman's Pipe, or PIPEVINE. [So called from a resemblance in the form of the flowers to that of a tobacco pipe.] (Bot.) The common name of Aristolochia sipho (800 ARISTOLOCHIA CEE), a native of the Alleghany mountains, cultivated as a climbing plant, out of doors, for the sake of its large, heart - shaped leaves.
