(limf.) (From L. lymph a, water.] (Anat.) A colorle fluid, or clear limpid secretion from the blood, which is carried by the lymphatic ve els into the thoracic duct, where it mixes with the chyle. Its constituents appear to be albuminous water and a little salt. [s. 562]
