Buckley

James Monroe, an American religious editor, born in Rahway, N. J., Dec. 16, 1836. He studied theology at Exeter and joined the Methodist Episcopal Church. Since 1881 he has been editor of the New York “ Christian Advocate.” He has written “ Travels in: Three Continents,” “‘ Oats, or Wild Oats,” ete.
