Grunt

n. [Dan. grynte; Fr. grogner; Sp. gruñir; It. grugnire; Lat. grunnio; formed from the sound.] To make a noise like a hog; to utter a short groan, or deep, guttural sound. -n. One of Bayer's constellations in the southern hemisphere, between Eridanus and Sag it tar i us. It has no stars of the first or second magnitude.
