NETTLER ASH

An eruption upon the skin much re semhling the sting of u nettle. It usually lasts for n few hours, and then disappears or changes its place; it is relieved by bathing the affected part with a mixture of one part of vinegar and eight or ten of water, and by mild aperient me dicines. [s. 841]
