Plural of flos, a flower. I. The flowers or blo oms of any plant used as a medicine. 2. A flocculent or pulverulent form a umed by certain medicines and chemicals after sublimation; as flores sulphur is, flowers of sulphur; flores benzols, flowers of benzoin, or sublimated benzoic acid.
