WHIRLING TABLE

A machine contrived for representing several phenomena of centrifugal force, by givins bodies a rapid rotation. Mr. Robins invented a whirling machine for the purpose of determining the resistance of the air, which is described in the 1st vol. of his Tracts; and al.-o in Hutlon's Tracts, vol. iii., where the results of u series ot experiments with it are detailed.
