Centrifugal Pump

—A pump in which the moving part is a revolving wheel or fan with curved vanes or spokes. The liquid is admitted at the center of the fan, and being carried round by centrifugal force, escapes from the tip of the blades; often used for pumping the circulating water through a condenser.
