trus, n. A bundle, as of hay or straw. (Surg.) A bandage or Trunk-hose apparatus used in cases of hernia, (yaut.) The rope or iron used to keep the center of a yard to the mast. (Arch. & Engin.) A combination of timbers, etc., forming an unyielding frame, for supporting a roof, etc. — v. t.
