Postscript

(post's kript.) [From L. postscribo, I write after.] (Lit.) A paragraph appended to a letter after it is concluded and signed by the writer. Also, any addition made to a literary composition, containing something omitted or something which subsequently occurs to the author: - this is more generally termed a sequel. [s. 725]
