(an-tir'ri-num.) (Bot.) Agen. of plants, 0. Scrophulariaceæ, containing the Great Snapdragon, a showy garden-plant, 1 to 2 ft. high, with large, pink colored flowers, the lower lip white, and the mouth yellow, with a gibbous prominence at the base beneath. There are many varieties. [s. 36]
