Seneca Indians

One of the tribes of the Iroquois confederacy. They dwelt chiefly in the region of the Seneca and Canandaigua lakes, and extended westwards to Gene see River. During the American Revolution they espoused the British cause. There are now some hundreds living in Grand River Reservation, Ontario.
