DISTOMA

(Gr. Sis, twice, and oropa, mouth.) The name of a genus of Trema to do us intestinal worms, including those which have two suckers or organs of adhesion,of which the anterior alone is a true mouth; and the posterior or larger disc is situated on the ventral aspect of the bndv, a little way behind the mouth.
